The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Scott Smith of Beulavllle, and the groom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Garfield Wil liams, also of Beulavllle. Mrs. Laran Houston was or ganist and Mrs. Edward Lee Boyette of Chinquapin soloist. They presented the nuptial se lections which Included "One Haad, One Hear." Her three tiered veil was attached to a satin crown with lace and seed ed pearl appliques.. She carr ied a cascade bouquet of white poms and white carnations centered with a white orchid with lavender thro*. The bride's sister, Mrs. Eddie Mare ady was Mwron of Honor. She wore a floor length empire waist gown of purple vevelteen and lavender sain, with matching rosette and veil. She carried a cres ant shaped bouquet of lavender mums, pur ple aid lavender poms, lavender carnations, and lavender grapes with purple net and purple ribb on^ _ iTie orues Maids were Mrs. Alton Payne of Wilmington, Miss Thorn as ine Sanderson of Chinquapin, Miss Earl Brown, Mrs. Jeff Lanier, Mrs. Ricky Thomas and Miss Esther Jo Kennedy of Beulavllle. They wore dresses and carried bouquets Identical to that of the Matron of Honor. The Grooms father was best man and ushers were: Randy Williams, brother of the groom; ? Eddie Maready, Kicky Lynn Th omas, and Kenneth Smith all of Beulavllle; Gene Hall at Pem broke, and Charles Stuart Lanier of Greenville. ' Lorl Ann Shaw, niece of the groom was flower girl. Her aress was identical to that of the other attendants. Randy 1 Sandlin was Ring Bearer. ?Stbe Brides mother wore a pink worsted wool and silk dress with Jewel trim and mat ching accessories. The grooms mother wore blue silk with matching accessories. Both wore orchid corsages. The br ide's grandmother wore blue matching accessories. The bride Is a Senior at East Carolina University and the groom attended the Uni versity of North Carolina and graduated from the Technical Institute of Alamance, Burling ton, and la now serving In the United States Air Force. Refreshments consisted of Ham Biscuit, Cheese, Ribbon sandwiches , roasted pecans, wedding bell mints, 3 tiered wedding cake and punch. Homtcoming At Beulaville Methodist The annual Homecoming ser vices of the United Methodist Church at Beulaville will be this coming Sunday. The services will begin with Sunday School convening at 10 o'clock. The worship service will be at 11 o'clock. During the worship hour a combined choir from three Methodist churches will sing. A basket dinner will be served soon after the conclu sion of the worship service. The public is invited to this time of fellowship and get-to gether with our families.
