Miss James Weds Cecil Allen Miller , ' Hie marriage of Peggy Or lane James and Cecil Allen Miller took place on Saturday, May 20, at six o'clock in ttfe evening in die sanctuary of ShUoh Baptist Church near The groom's pastor, the Rev. Jack DM1 of Beulavifie, saslsted the pastor of die bride, the Rev. David Bays of Chinquapin in officiating at the double rtaig ceremony. The altar was decorated efth baskets of white mums and pom-pons backed by pesnery and lighted by white tattering cantos in tall candle stands. The blrde is the daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. Orlan James of Route 2, Chinquapin. The bride's gown was of whita silk peau de sole with a chapel train. The high neckline of the empire bodce was bordered in Venice lace, with lnavts of the lace set in , bodice and lantern sleeves. She were a cathedral mantilla of lace bordered bridal iDusion over e Juliet cap of Aknoon | lice, and carried a bouquet of wMte pom-pons and yellow reaas and one green orchid. ??ie bride's father gave bis daughter in marriage, and Mr. Miller acted as his son's bait nun. Nancy James served her Miter as maid of honor. Her cousins, Janice Home of RWitante, Marlyn James of Greenville, Mrs. Robert flsson of Greensboro; two Man*, Mrs. Join Smith of Kjmton, and Mrs. James Fbrqum of Wilmington; and the silter of the groom, Gcstchen Miller of BedivUle, attended the bride as brkhnmsids.
