Smith-Hunter Vows Spoken Sunday The marriage tows of Ju dith Elaine Smith, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Harold James Smith of Route 3, Pink Hill, vid Jerry Wade Hunter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Frank lin Hunter of Beulaville, were spoken at 6:00p.m., June 34, 1973. in the Pink Hill United Methodist Church. The Rev erends James Sn/pes of Kin ston and Willie Shephard of Be ulaville officiated at the double ring ceremony The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of white, slikened organza over peau do sore. The gown was fashioned with a sheer yoke and empire waist was high lighted with re-embroidered Afcacon lace. Appliques of fitted she^r sleeves and the high colonial neckline. Flowing from the waist was a detachable ch apel length train accented with identical lace. Attached to the bride's lace capulet was her el bow-length Mantilla of imported silk illusion bordered with Al encon lace. The bride carried a bouquet centered with a white orchid that was surrounded by tropicana minature carnations, yellow roses, and aqua carna tions. Mrs. June S. Smith of Beu laville, served her sister as matron of honor. Maid of ho nor was Miss Barbara C. Kennedy of Beulaville. Brides maids were Miss Melinda S. Hunter of Riverhead, Long Is land; Miss Terrie Alberts on of Beulaville; Miss Virginia Rich of Raketgfe Miss Item Nelson of Sucyt add M achet Batch of Pink Hil . Troop 20 Tops Croatan I At the 50th Anniversary Tus carora Camporee Troop 20 of Warsaw once again proved to be the best in Croatan I. The troop to under the leadership of assistant scoutmasters Ralph Vernon and Nelson Carlton. All four of Troop 20's pa trols earned blue ribbons.
