Items displayed included pictures of the honored guests and members at their families, a pedigree chart for the Goodaon ?ad Waters families, the front page of a News and Observer published on the date of Mr. and Mrs. Goodson's wedding. There were also letters of con gratulations from President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter, Governor and Mrs. James B. Hunt, Jr., and Congressman and Mrs. Charles Whitley. The appointeu table was covered in a white linen doth, centered with an arrangement of white carnations, gerber and bakers fern flanked by diver candetabras with white b<Mta?Barbera Goodaon. Miss Erma Jean MaHory and Miss Breads Good son, grand daughters of toe couple, alter nated to pouring punch. Mr. and Mrs. Goodson were married February 21, 1918 at the home of her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson Waters. The late Rev. Alfred E. Rouse officiated at the cere mony. Mr. Goodson's parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John Francis Goodson. Mrs. Goodson was attired in a two-piece burgundy brocaded dress. She wore a white orchid corsage and Mr. Goodson wore a white carnation boutoniiiere. February 18. The affair is sponsored by the Peace Student Government Association and Saturday night the students and their dad-dates enjoyed a buffet dinner and danced to the music of the Charles Burt Trio in the campus Be Ik Dining Hall.
