Boyette. The nomi nation was seconded by Fred Rhodes. A tie vote ensued, aad Strickland withdrew as a Phillips then nominated Boyette for the chairman ship. Boyette declined be cause the chairman cannot vote. Phillips nominated Rhodes, who decltaed. He Strickland said he'wouki not do. Rhodes finally made a motion that Strickland be nominated to a one-year term as chairman, that the chair manship be rotated annually, and that if Strickland is still chairman of the school board when his J SI chair term expires, he not take that post back.
