BRYANT Duplin Youth Compete In Area Livestock Show Nineteen Duplin 4-H and FFA members exhibited hogs and four exhibited steers at the Coastal Plain Livestock Show and Sale held at Kinston. Cece Williams of Route 1. Rose Hill, exhibited the reserve champion steer which was purchased by Federal Land Bank and PCA. Greg Swain of Warsaw exhibited the reserve cham pion pen of three hogs which was purchased by Duplin Farm Bureau. Joe Jones of Warsaw won 1st place in beef senior showmanship. Joe's steer was nurchased bv I J Liberty Warehouse of Wilson. Southern Bank of Warsaw purchased a hog shown by Joe. The other steer exhibitors from Duplin were Randy Maready, whose steer was purchased by United Caro lina Banks in Duplin, and DeLeon Smith, whose steer was purchased by Duplin County Farm Bureau Insurance. East Duplin FFA members who exhibited hogs were: Gus Rouse. W.T. Davis, James Millard, Sissy Blizzard, Tony Cruse, Michele Grady, Carlton Grady, Don Grady, Brian Smith and Johnnie Smith. County 4-H members in clude Laurie Swain, Tony Westbrook, Russell Brock, Becky Brock and Glenn Brin son.
