Revival Services The Faison Baptists began their revival services on Nov. 2 with the Rev. Tom Vestal of Raleigh as visiting preacher.* Services began each night at 7:30. Attend Dog Show Mr. and Mrs. Ned Cottle attended the Lumberton Dog Show last weekend showing two of their Doberman pinschers, which received two identical scores of 189'/a out of a perfect score of 200. On Sunday they received the highest scoring Doberman pinscher in the obedience classes with a score of 195'/i out of a possible 200. They also received first place winner of the novice class B obedience. Gifts were received for each winning score. Both Dobermans have finished their CD title at this show and are now recognized by the AKC as championship dogs. Sunday School Teachers Redognlzed Sunday morning, the Presbyterian Church Sunday School was an assembly in the sanctuary presided i ver by Mrs. Tommy Taylor of the WOC, honoring the pa t and present teachers and Sunday q School officers, "lach officer was presented a corsage ^r boutonniere by the young people of the church. Three generations reported on the Sunday School. Mrs. J.B. Stroud Jr. gave a report on the Sunday School 70 years ago. Her daughter, Mrs. F.D. Taylor, reported on the school 40 years ago, and 1 r grandson, Donnv Tavlor. re ported on the present Sunday School. Mrs. Luther Taylor Jr. made appropriate remarks to the teachers and superin tendent, praising them for their loyal support and the work they had done. She introduced the present teachers: Mrs. Lewis Taylor, Mrs. John Robert CroV, Mrs. Austin Carter, Jake Atkinson, J.B. Stroud, Bill McCullen and Mrs. Tommy Taylor. Walter Mangum is the coordinator and John Robert Crow superintendent, of Mrs. Sarah Lemon last week. Miss Rossie Waters of Clirfren. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hollingsworth and Robin, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Wil liamson and Ginny of Clinton and Ted Warren and Charyl Garris of Greenville visited Mrs. Ralph Precythe Sunday.
