After receiving a degree in
animal science from NCSU,
Outlaw served as livestock
agent of the NCAES in
Wilson and Lenoir counties.
In 1954 he became the
livestock marketing specia
list for the N.C. Agriculture
Department. He was head
buyer for Frosty Morn Meat
Packaging Co. in Kinston
from 1958 until his retire
ment a few years ago.
