JAMES KENAN GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL NOMINEES -
The Governor's School of North Carolina will offer to a few
selected gifted and talented students in the present 10th
and 11th grades unique learning experiences. Students
pptninated are those who have demonstrated creativity,
interest and motivation. Academics, activities and special
talents are considered in the selection process. The
summer programs are held in Winston-Salem and
Laurinburg for six weeks. Students can be nominated in
academic areas and/or the performing arts. The nominees

America. They enjoyed the
fellowship of their friends
from other parts of North
Carolina as well as from
