Lisa Hinson and Susan Oxley were in Watha Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Raywood Kennedy. Jessica and Jeffrey, all of Kinston. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Thomp son and Junior. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Cottle of Cather ine lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Batson. Karen. Chris, and Glenn Redding, all of Wilmington, surprised Mr. and Mrs. Adam Ken nedy with a birthday dinner for Mrs. Kennedy 's birthday celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Faulkner of Cabin made ar rangements for a surprise birthday party for their son. I.eroy. and his wife Peggy in Goldsboro. On Monday Howard Sea food was the setting for several family members celebrating their February birthdays. They were Sherry I in ner, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Harold Turner; Michael Howard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ressie Howard; Lizzie Howard Kennedy; Ressie Howard. Jill Davis, and Johnnie Earl Howard. Brantley remains in the hospital in Kinston. Minnie Benson was dis missed from Duplin General in Kenansville. Beasley Jones is a patient in Duke Hospital in Durham. Gordon Kennedy was dis missed from Lenoir Memo rial. Grace Brown remains in New Hanover Hospital and was taken into the intensive care unit during the past week. Hosca Hunter was dis missed from Duplin General. Sands Plain Senior Citizc The Sandy Plain Set Citizens met in the educa tional building of the church Saturday with 101 attending, lite building was decorated in the Vaicnt inc motif. Guests were Dean Kennedy and family. The program included gospel songs, with Doug Seymour at the piano, Melanie Kennedy, guitar and Dean Kennedy on the banjo. Rev. McAbec returned thanks.
