Key. and Mrs. Garland Koushec visited his mother Sunday afternoon on their way to Sanford where they joined their daughter Karen and husband for a trip to Williamsburg. Va. They re ported an enjoyable trip. Mrs. Sherman Jackson en joyed having her daughter and husband of Arlington. Va. with her for the week '? end. Leon Heath. Dora Jones. Joan and Russell Barnelte spent the weekend of April 3 in Kensington. Mil. at the Washington Temple. Church ot Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When they returned, they learned that the Leon Heaths had lost their home anil possessions by a house lire. A shower was given for them at the Sandy Plain Free Will Baptist Church Saturday night. A tree will offering , was also taken at the April senior citizens meeting for the Heath family. Barbara arid Don Furgcr son and Julia of Ahoskic spent Easter weekend with Mrs. OtIis Miller. Smith I was admitted to Duplin I General Hospital and is in I the intensive care unit.
