For several years I have been researching the genea logy of the Shepard Family. Some of my records trace part of this family to the early 1800s. At the moment, 1 espe cially need some information on Riley Shepard who died in 1950 -- about age 90. I believe he was a Primitive Baptist preacher. Riley Shepard's father was Jacob K. Shepard. I am especially interested in learning who was Riley's mother -- and in learning. anything I can about her family. 1 would appreciate nearing from anyone who can tell me anything about Riley Shepard especially any information on his mother. I shall answer all letters and will be happy to share the information that I have on this branch of the Shepard Family with anyone who is interested in the family history of the Shepards of Duplin and Onslow counties.
