Pauline's parents are both
deceased. Gerald is the son
of Elda Holmes of Route 2.

They will reside at Route

Dorothy Kennedy playing

invited to attend East Duplin
High School's Open House.
There will bd a variety
show of many talents, con
sisting of students, teachers
and oarents. The master of
ceremonies is none other
than Charles Albertson. Also
there will be refreshments in
the lunchroom.
Parents arc asked to take
this time to come out to meet
your child's teachers and to
observe what East Duplin is
doing for your child. The
teachers will be in the rooms
waiting for you to come by. It
will only take two hours of
your time for entertainment,
refreshments and fellowship,
w hich arc all free.
You arc asked to come and
join in because East Duplin
needs you. All this takes
place on Tuesday. Nov. 9

harvest sale Saturday. Oct.

Gifts for Christmas, quilts,
quilt tops, baked and canned
goods, plus many more items
will be sold.
The ladies will be selling
ham and sausage biscuits,
sandwiches, cakes and other
sweets all day.
Hall Reunion
The families and descen
dants of Effie and the late
Enoch Hall will hold their
family reunion on Sunday,
Oct. 31 at the Community
Building in Potters Hill,
Lunch will be at 1 p.m.. All
relatives and friends are
invited to attend. Bring a
picnic lunch and tea and
enjoy the day.

The Sandy Plain Free Will
Baptist Church revival will
begin Oct. 25 and run thru
Friday, Oct. 29. Services are
each evening at 7:30. The
guest speaker is the Rev.
Walter Sutton. An invitation
is extended to all.

Cedar Fork Senior Citizens
enjoy State Fair

the Cedar Ford area ar
ranged a chartered bus tour
to the State Fair on Tuesday.
They met at the community
building at 7 a.m. and picked
up 10 from Beulaville. There
we're 39 who made the trip.
