Holmes-Meadows Wedding Gerald Holmes of Route 2. Pink Hill, and Pauline Mea dows of Sherficld Mabama, were married on Tuesday, Oet. 29, 1982 in Dillon, SC." Pauline's parents are both deceased. Gerald is the son of Elda Holmes of Route 2. Pink Hill, and the late Perry Holmes. They will reside at Route 2. Pink Hill. Lou Kennedy Circle Tuesday the Lou Kennedy Circle of the Baptist Church visited at Guradian Care Nursing Home in Kenans ville. The entertainment was gospel singing by Mcrvin (Monk) Whalcy. Raybourn Kennedy; and Myrtle and Kenneth McClain, with Dorothy Kennedy playing the piano. East Duplin upen House Parents, grandparents, relatives and friends are invited to attend East Duplin High School's Open House. There will bd a variety show of many talents, con sisting of students, teachers and oarents. The master of ceremonies is none other than Charles Albertson. Also there will be refreshments in the lunchroom. Parents arc asked to take this time to come out to meet your child's teachers and to observe what East Duplin is doing for your child. The teachers will be in the rooms waiting for you to come by. It will only take two hours of your time for entertainment, refreshments and fellowship, w hich arc all free. Hall Reunion The families and descen dants of Effie and the late Enoch Hall will hold their family reunion on Sunday, Oct. 31 at the Community Building in Potters Hill, Lunch will be at 1 p.m..
