at 7 p.m. at the Agricultura
Extension office in Kenans
ville.
The demonstrator will be
Dwain Pilkington. a meal
specialist in North Carolina
State University school oi
agriculture and life sciences.
His responsibility is the
liaison between the food and
science department, the
North Carolina meat industry
and the AES. Dwain will
demonstrate cutting beef and
pork to get more meat for
your dollar, carving meat,
removing the bone from a
ham. as well as many other

A crime prevention work
shop will be held Tuesday,
Dec. 7 beginning at 9 a.m.
and ending at 2:30 p.m. at
the Duplin County Senior
Citizen Center located on
Seminary Street in Kenans
ville.
Crime and fear of crime
hurts everyone. As an older
adult, there are many thing;
you can do to prevent be
coming a victim of crime.
There will be ideas given in
the workshop that you should
not miss. So, avail yourself of
crime preventive methods.
