Kenansville News Birth Announced Mr. and Mrs. James Ben jamin Stroud Jr. of Magnolia announce the birth of their son, James Benjamin Iir on July 9, 1983 in Lenoir Me morial Hospital in Kinston. The Strouds have two little girls, Jennifer and Jessica, who plan to call their baby brother "Ben." Kontract Klub Mrs. George Penney was hostess for the Kenansville Kontract Klub Thursday with Eloise K. Ryder and Sue Neil Lentz substituting for absent members. Between progressions, the hostess, assisted by Mrs. Mattie W. Barbee, served peaches and cream with spiced caramel cake and iced tea or coffee. July 19 at 8 p.m. for re freshments and the annual membership drive meeting. The Association, a non profit organization, consists of volunteers who have de voted their time and talent to promote the enrichment of youth through a scholarship pageant.
