Dis-n-dat finds Dennis Kirby
beating Kenansville's talented
barber twice in the same day. It does
appear his nits have grown up on the
tour, but never fear, the man has
better plans.. .Don't believe me, ask
Thomas Rouse. Poo Bear and CDP
were taught a lesson last week at
Rock Creek. CDP was dumped
before the clubs got to the car. . .The
story of MV is you better win or else.
Rockfish's colorful class Jim Penney
says he has gone to Sam Sneed
putting stance.. .putt and pray. This
is a real jewel. . .Woodrow Black
burn told me last week that Ward
Carlton hated to lose money. . .now
shoe. Knott Teachey has been
helping Harry Carlton with his
putting game. . . Don't look up,
dammit. If Buster Johnson isn't the
best golfer in Duplin County, then
who is. . . Other event scheduled at
DCC includes a superball Friday,
June 15 at 5:30, Thursday, June 14
will be a free clinic for men. Ladies
free clinics held June 20 and 27.
Duplin's golf course is in the best
condition in many years. The greens
are just beautiful. . .thanks to Rick
Green and Buster Johnson. . .You'd
better come play it. See the Fat Cat
for other info.
