Local Students Complete Degree At UNC-G Three students from Duplin County were among 336 persons who completed their degree require ments during summer school at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The students are being invited to return to the campus May 11-12 to participate in commencement exer cises. The 336 students completing their degrees during summer school in cluded three at the doctoral level, 138 master's degree recipients and 193 undergraduates. Duplin County students are: Pamela B. Chasten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Chasten of Route 1, Chinquapin, an educational administration major, completed re quirements for a master of education degree. She is a graduate of East Duplin High School. Completing bachelor's degrees were: Avis M. Boone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Boone of route 2, Faison, a communication studies major, a bachelor af arts degree, and Margaret E.
