Cooking Class Fund Raiser
The Duplin County Medical Auxi- <
liary invites you to join in a "Graham
House Cooking Experience."
A cooking class will be held on
January 29 at 11 a.m. at the
Agricultural Building assembly
room, Duplin Street, Kenansville.
This is a unique opportunity to see
Chef Ramirez at work and share
some of his delicious recipes.
Coffee will be served during the
class session. Then guests will move
to the Graham House where they will
have an opportunity visit the wine
cellar and be served lunch at about
1:15 p.m.
The cooking class and luncheon is
$25 per person with limited seating.

Mullis Named
Volunteer Of The Month

Troy Dewitt Mullis has been
named Volunteer of the Month of
January by the Duplin County
Services to the Aged.
Reverend Mullis is a graduate of
Davidson College in the class of
1937, and a graduate of Union
Theological Seminary in Richmond,
Va. He was ordained to the ministry
August 4, 1940, by Fayetteville
Presl vtery.
He retired after serving 39 years in
full-t!ine ministry. After retiring he
and tir .vife, Mary, purchased a
home iu Kenansville where they now
reside. He continues to be active in
the Lions Club, Duplin Ministerial
Association, Yokefellow Prison
Ministry, and the Duplin County
AARP chapter.
Rev. Mullis is considered a
valuable volunteer to the "meals on
wheels" program.
