What Thanksgiving Means To Me I'o some people Thanksgiving means hunting and things like that, such as watching football and playing movie-stars. But what I like best is going to s -e my grand parents. Some times I sit and talk about pilgrems and Indains. Some Indains were mean to the pilgrems and some were nice. They taught them how to go hunting and how to grow crops, while the mean Indains were trying to take over their land. On Ihanksgiving we eat dinner and give thanks for our food and famiies. The End By Erin Can We Give Thanks Once upon a time a group of people came to the Plymouth Rock by the Mayflower. The people were called Pilgrams. A group of Indians came out and. the chief asked who are we. We said "We are pil grams .'' The chief said "do you want to be friends," yes. The next day we had a feast. The men went hunting, fishing, and picked fruit, h was a big feast. The pilgrams tried to take away the land. So they had war. I guess the pilgrams won. By Janet L. Hall What 1 do on Thanksgiving On thankgiving I watch ball on my tall T.V. My dad hunts turkey, and of course Mom cooks turkey in the oven. An hour later the turkey is cooked. "This is what I do on Thankgiving, "Eat"! By: Jennalne Williams What Thanksgiving Means To Me On Thanksgiving I watch parades and basketball. We have no school and we get to eat turkey. By Brandon Potter What Thanksgiving Means to Me On the Thanksgiving holiday we get to stay home for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and two other days. On one of those days we have a big feast with turkey, pumpkin pie, turkey dressing, and other good things, Somtimes we go on vacation and visit my grandmother. Some times I play basketball at my house while mom cooks Thanksgiving lunch. I watch movies and play with my friends. When lunch is ready we sit at the table and say our prayer, then we eat. After we eat we put our plates up and let our food digest. The best thing I like about Thanksgiving is we're thankful for the food we eat.
