'By Mr. Webb An act to regulate (lie manufacture of liquor in the city of Asheville. By Mr. Eller An act to incorpo rate the Winston-Salem Southbound Railway Company. By Mr. Wright An act to ap point justices of the peace for Row an County, the appointees being three men who failed to get out elec tion tickets. By Mr. Wright An act to make it a misdemeanor for one partner to appropriate the partnership funds or property Avithout the consent of his. copartner. By Mr. Wright An act to regu late the sale of morphine and cocain, prohibiting the sale of the drugs ex cept upon written prescription of a physician. By Mr. Odell An act to amend chapter 273, public laws 1903, enti tled an act for the relief of cer tain Confederate soldiers and widows. The bill raises the appro priation from $200,000 to $300,000. By Mr. Ward An act to amend section G50 of The Code to provide for appeals in contempt cases, giv ing the right of appeal by the party adjudged in contempt the same as in civil actions. By Mr. Ward An act to amend chapter 040, public laws 1903, to pro vide for paying stenographers in Craven County. By Mr. Ward An act to amend section C 18 of The Code to provide for appeals in contempt cases. This is the same as the former bill on the question but amends another Code section on the subject. By Mr. Ward An act to make the office of bank cashier a continuing office. AH bank cashiers elected or appointed shall hold until removed or a successor is elected or ap pointed. By Mr. Wright of Rowan To bar power of sale in mortgages, mort gage trust deeds, deeds in trust, etc., when the debt secured thereby is barred. Mr. Cuningham of Person To appropriate $5,000 for the erection of a monument to Gen. M. W. Ransom.- Mr. Winborne To prevent injus tice by hasty and improvident re straining orders and injunctions without notice. Mr. Winborne To repeal the fraudulent act, chapter 349, laws of 1903, the anti-jug law. Mr. Graham of Granville To amend chapter 488, laws of 1899, so as to provide for the election of county commissioners of Granville by the people. Mr. Winborne of Hertford To prevent fraudulent legislation by de ceptive titles, and to make the title of a bill a part thereof.
