Carr has selected the Southern Railway via Asheville, Knoxville and Harriman Junction as the official route for his Veterans' Special, consisting of first-class day coaches and Pullmans to be handled through from Raleigh to Louisville without change. This special will leave Raleigh 3.30 p. m., Monday, June 12th, and the route is through the grand and lofty mountain re gions of Western North Carolina, East Tennessee and the beautiful blue grass section of Kentucky. It is the intention of the manage ment of the Southern Railway to make this a most pleasant trip for every one.
