The more news the better the paper. Weeklies can't maintain metropolitan staffs. Between writing news, ed , itorials, advertising, reading proof, chasing down collec tions and attending public gatherings an editor of a small town paper hasn't many minutes he can call his own. if j / I 1 If he overlooks a bit of live news it isn!t his faults he can't be everywhere or see everything. So help him along by sending in thfc stray bits of gobip which can be skillfully woven into news stories. ; ' Thats what makes a newspaper. A good newspaper I will help make Tryon a bigger and better town. If we pull together we'll get somewhere. p - Once before we took occasion to say that L. J.
