C. jj ^ , . _ Iharry wills seems bound for battle with dempsey soon The stock of Harry Wills, negro challenger for the heavyweight boxing championship of the world, soared again recently. James A. Farley, chairman of the State Athletic Commission, is consistent. He has declared time without number that Dempsey must fight Wills or not at all in this state, and it looks' as It his will would prevail and that Tex Rickard will have to submit or take his proposed Dempsey-Tunney bout across the river to New Jersey. The strange part of the ruling made by the State Athletic Commission lies rn William Muldoon's change of front. He has said that he would never ap prove a mixed Dout ror me neavjweight title, and yet he voted in ravor of the resolution which declared that Dempsey must make good his promise to meet Wills within three weeks.
