ROCKFISH CLUB HOLDS INTERESTING SESSION Rockfish Home Demonstra tion Club met at the home of Mrs. David Williams July 24th. The meeting was called to or der by the president. The club . sang “Blest Be the Tie That Binds” and read our club pray er. Minutes of last meeting were read, after which the roll j was called each member ans-, wering with some rule that we j could follow that would make •our community and country a better place in which to live. Nineteen members were pre sent and one visitor. The new members made plans for en tertaining the “Charter Mem bers” at the home of Mrs. Wai te? Register. Aug. 30th. Mrs. ! was taken up in reports from the following project leaders: Housefurnishing, Mrs. Luther Register; Clothing, Mrs. Berta Ward; Garden, Mrs. R. J. Ward; Health, Mrs. Hayden Turner; Yard, Mrs. Geddie Dixon; Recreation, Mrs. Walt er Register. Mrs. Luther Register, house furnishing leader made the highest score and was given the free trip to the short course. Mrs. Hayden Turner made sec ond and Mrs. Walter Register third. Club score for the af ternoon was eighty-fivei. We had the penny parade after ward. We were served water melon by the hostess.
