Mrs. Robinson was elected delegate to the Na tional convention to be held in Miami, Fla. Herbert Rogers, Jr., and Julia Rogers, of Greenville, visited friends in Wallace Monday. Miss Annie B.. J. Cavenaugh cele brated his fifth birthday on Friday afternoon, April 10. Games were played and an Eas ter egg hunt enjoyed. The lit tle guests were invited into the dinning room where the table was centered with a birthday cake and flanked by pink tapers. J. Caven augh, Jr. • • • ROSE-FARRIOR Coming as a complete sur-j prise to many of their friends j was the marriage of Miss Alice 'Farrior and William N. Rose,; which took place Sunday at the' Baptist church following the morning service. The Reverend; J. E. Lanier, pastor, officiated, using the ring ceremony. As the bridal chorus from; “Lohengrin” was played by, Mrs. William Farrior, the bride 'and groom entered together. During the ceremony “To a Wild Rose” was softly played, j A petite, attractive brunette, -I"1—. the bride was charming in a suit of blue woolen with blue fox trim and gray accessories. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of pink sweetheart roses showered with lily of the valley. . Mrs. Rose is the eldest dau ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Farrior. After her graduation from high school she received her degree at East Carolina Teachers College in Greenville and is a member of the Chin quapin school faculty. Mr. Rose, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Rose, of Benson, at tended Wake Forest College where he was a member of the Pi Gamma Sigma fraternity. Immediately after the cere mony the young couple left for a wedding trip and will be at home in Wallace after April 26.
