Games were played and prizes awarded after which Miss Chad wick opened her many gifts. The hosless served iced cakes, mints, nuts and coca colas to approxi mately 45 guests. Holds Zone Meeting al Siraiis The Woman's Society of Christ ian Service held its fall zone meet ing at Straits Idethodist Chinch last week. Mrs. Stanley Mann, of Newport, presided over the meet ing. The meeting opened with a hymn after which Mr. H. L. Har rell, of the Straits charge, conduct ed the devotions. Miss Genevieve Gwynn sang a solo and Mrs. Hairy Chadwick, of Smyrna, gave the welcome address which was res ponded to by Mrs. Leon Young blood of Newport. Sea Level led in attendance with a perfect record. Mrs. R. L. Cox, promotion sec retary, made a report and explain ed several changes that had been made for the coming year. Mrs. Glass, conference vice-president discussed the duties of the vice president and Mrs. Carl Herring ton gave a demonstration of a study course. The meeting was concluded with the noonday devotional by Mrs. Glpss.
