It was noted that one room needs completion for use as a contemplated recreation room. Ait public offices were found jo be efficiently staffed and records in order. In lieu qf individual inspections school buses, a duty charged to the grand jury by Judge Frizzelle, the jury submitted detailed re port prepared by Cpl. V. L. The following progress was re. ported on recommendations sub mitted by the grand jury of the March" term: recommended repairs at the Newport school are in pro cess of completion; work on Camp Glenn school is substantially com pleted; no recommended repair or have been made; no recommended action taken, on Atlantic school; all yvork has been completed as re commended for Smyrna school. On Harkers Islard school, all re Commendations have been made with the exception of Indoor toilets and facilities for sewage disposal; the Cedar Island school building, wheh is in very poor condition, has not been, moved as recommended, and only one room 'is used for pu pils; suggested roof repairs on Beaufort gymnasium have not' been made. it was found that .'wo rooms re commended to be built to the jail to orovids accommodntio "s for white and colored women has not been done.
