We are all glad that Mr. J. T. Graham is able to be out again. We hope he will soon be well. A Sunday School convention met at the Bay View Baptist church Sunday afternoon. Quite a large crowd attended. Rev. E. S. Beazley held services at Graham's Chapel Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sprinkle of Wire Grass spent a while Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Graham. Mrs. Georgia Brown spent a while Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Graham. A family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmon Win'oerry Sunday. Cuth rell, pastor the Marshallberg church, brought great messages to the congregations who attended. Mrs1. William Vance Fulford, Jr. and children, of Beaufort, visited Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Smith Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Eloisc Adams and Mrs. Nel lie Adams, of Morehead City, vi sited relatives here Friday after noon. Reverend L. C. Chandler filed his regular appointment here Sun day night at the Baptist church. Mrs. Nina Wade, of Beaufort, spent several days here last week with relatives. Mrs. Gertie Willis and daughter, Miss Verta, and Mr. Rudolph Pi ner, of Williston, attended services at the Methodist church here Sun day afternoon. After services at the church last Thursday night, the ladies of the Woman's Society of Christian ser vice, and their husbands were at tended the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Taylor, where cake and cof fee were served in honor of the birthdays of Mrs. II. C. Willis, and little Miss Dianna Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Taylor, of Wiilliston, attended the services at the Baptist church here Sunday night. Mr. Gilbert Whitehurst and Mr. Gerald Whitehurst, of Straits, were in our community a few hours, Sat urday night. a spread table of artful and ela borate crochet and needle work for sale. The public is cordially invited. Saturday, Miss Ana Bell Hall was hoostess at a party given to a group of her friends. The Home Demonstration club met with Mrs. Ab. Morriss. The demonstration was on the care of electric appliances. Strawberry shorot cake was their serving. Next month's meeting will be at the homoe of Mrs. Kenneth McCabe. Mrs. Fernie Willis and son are visiting her parents at Bear's Creek. Mr. Fernis Willis spent the weekend with his parents in Newport. Miss Jane Davis of Crab Point spent the week-end with Miss Bob by Ann Lee. Friends will be glad to know that Mrs. Rosa York is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lewis, Roy Jr., and daughter Sherill Lee are back home after a two week stay In Norfolk. Mr. Lewis reported back aboard shin at Norfolk Sun day while his wife and children will make their stay with her par ents in Little Washington until his return from northern waters. Mrs. Mary Slade, of Florence, N. C, sncnt Saturday with her sister, Mrs. Cal Whalcy. M. Leslie Brinson has been at tending the Fire Fighter's school in Norfolk. Mrs. Eunice Willis, teacher at Camp Glenn School, spent th week-end with her sister in Willis ton. Mrs. Russell Willis and Mrs. Mell Mansfield accompanied by Mr. Will Willis spent Tuesday in Ka lcigh shopping.
