A team of Cornell scientists is studying mud (or the U. S. Arttty. They h*ve found some hitherto unrecognized forces at work in common dirt. The purpose is to learn to strengthen soil without tons of cement or other mixtures by the school and the PTA. Prof. McLendon states that the present school year .will be a very strenuous one, and will require the all-out support of each parent and citizen in the community. It is therefore imperative that all PTA members and community ci tizens make themselves available for the Ilrst meeting of the school year.
