Graveside services were held in
Stella Monday afternoon at 2:30
for Jesse W. Watson, 82, of Stella
who died Friday night in Rex hos
pital, Haleigh.
Surviving Mr. Watson are his
wife, Mrs. Bessie Mills Watson,
four sons, John, l.oekwcll, Clar
ence and Rudolph and two daugh
ters, Mrs. Kdna Duke and Miss

Sunday evening at his home in
Swansboro after a long illness.

Evelyn Watson, one son. Clarence,
all of Swansboro, one brother,

Johnny Reams,. 41. a retired
Navy officer, died Sunday morn
ing in the US Naval hospital at
Camp Lejeune where he had been
receiving treatment.
Mr. Reams, formerly of More
head City, had been living in San
Francisco, Cal., until his health
forced him to come east to the
hospital.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
from Coble's Funeral Home in
Wilmington, with burial following
