For Tenth Reunion Friday
The Beaufort high school class
of 1942 celebrated its 10th reunion
Friday evening at the Inlet inn '
with a dinner.
During the business meeting,
Bobby Stephens, class president,
presided. George Bridgers gave
the devotional and Mrs. Katy Lou
Dorrler called the roll.
All at the dinner answered the
roll call by giving a brief iccount |
of highlights qf his life during the
past 10 years, and introduced his i
wife, husband or escort.

urday night in Norfolk General
hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at
2 o'clock this afternoon at the Cox

Funeral services for Isaiah Scott.
65. who died at his home at Har
kers Island Thursday night were
held in the Pentecostal Holiness
church. Harkers Island, at 3
o'clock Friday afternoon with the
Rev. Carlisle Hiram officiating.
Burial was in the family plot.
Surviving Mr. Scott are his wife,
Mrs. Sarah Scott, a daughter, Mrs.
Garfield Emory, a son. Charlie, two
brothers. Terrill and Ivey, and a
sister. Mrs. Sudie Rose, all of Har
kers Island.
ALBERT W. OLIVER
Albert W. Oliver. 48. of Milling
ton. N. J., seaman on an ocean-go
ing tug boat, died at Morehead
City hospital Thursday, an hour
after being admitted to the hos
pital because of a heart attack. He
was taken to Morehead City by the
Coast Guard buoy tender.
The body was sent to New Mar
ket, N. J., for burial.
