Swearingen of Smith field is spending Jwo weeks with her father, Mr. M. T. Thomas, while Dr. Swearingen is attending officers' reserve camp at Fort Jackson, S. C. Dr. and Mrs. George Rutherford and their children, Richie and Cheryl, arrived' Wednesday for a weekend visit with Mrs. Robert Til lett, en route" to their home in New York from Wrightsville Beach where they have been staying. Merrill's for the past three months while working at the Morehead City Yacht basin, left Sunday for Thunderbolt, Ga., where he has been transferred. Mrs. Kenneth Dieffenbach and children, formerly of Beaufort, now of Miami, Fla., spent Tuesday night with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Keel, en route to Pennsylvania. Mrs. June Davis and her daugh ter, Rae Jean, of Birmingham, Ala., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Azor J. Rhea. Virginia Davis and Dorothy Pake returned home over the weekend from a visit to Butler, Pa.
