recommendation of the Zoning
Board of Adjustment for the re
zoning of Ctertf.in residential areas
to business areas and the approval
of such recommendations by the
Board of Commissioners of the
town of Morehead City, a public
hearing upon such proposals will
be held by the Board of Commis
sioners, town of Morehead City, at
the City Hall on Monday night,
April 8, 1953, at 7:30 p.m. for the
purpose of deciding upon the
passage of an amendment to the
Town Zoning Ordinance, adopting '
the recommendations, to wit: '

MRS. MARTHA HILL
Graveside services for Mrs. Mar
tha Hill, 85. of 1309 Evans street,
Morehead City, who died suddenly
Wednesday night in Morehead City
hospital, will be held in the Cedar
Island cemetery at 10 o'clock this
morning. Elder Gurgannus of
the Primitive Baptist church will
officiate.
Surviving are a son, Marshall,
of Morehead City, and two sisters,
Mrs. Ida Willis of Beaufort and
Mrs. Susan Day of Morehead City.
MRS. NANCY P. BEVERIDGE
Funeral services for Mrs. Nan
cy Pigott Beveridge, 78. who died
at her home in Beaufort Wednes
day morning after a short illness
were held at 3 o'clock Thursday af
ternoon at the Ann Street Metho
dist church, with the Rev. B. D.
Critcher officiating. Burial was
in St. Paul's Episcopal church cem
etery.
Surviving are three sons, David
and Levi of Beaufort, John of Mel
bourne, Fla., one daughter, Mrs. Su
san Carroll of Newport; one sis
ter, Mrs. Eliza Howland of Beau
fort; and six grandchildren.
