Mr. Elmer DeCamp of Beaufort
died suddenly of a heart attack and
was buried in the Duff Purifoy
cemetery. Mr. DeCamp made
friends easily, always had a cheer
ful word for his fellow man. He
loved children and the Methodist
church. He served as sexton of
the Ann Street Methodist church
for many years. He will be sadly
missed by all.

Carey observed the fire while

Merrimac.
