PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY OPERATORS STUDY YOUR FACE
BEFORE RECOMMENDING COIFFURE
Just like a dress Is designed to fit the figure, so must a hair style
be chosen to complement the shape of the face. A coiffure which is
stunning on one person may be completely wrong for someone else
with a different tvpe of face. Your coiffure must be designed for
you, designed to flatter your type of face and individuality.
SQUARE FACE
A wave which dip* slightly, but still
gives height, and sides that are waved
upward are desirable lines far the square
type of face.
TRIANGLE FACE
The sharp lines of thi? type of face
must be ovalized. Interesting and un
usual hair styles are attractive', and* the
very smartewt of short cuts with smooth
lines are excellent for this type of face.
OBLONG FACE
A side part is most always tlx most
flattering far the oblong type, since the
objective it to soften the temple anil
forehead line and ovaiize the Jaw line.
ROUND FACE
The feeling of roundness cm be broken
with upward lines at the side of the
head. Waved height across the top of
the head Is also desirable.
DIAMOND FACE
The main characteristic of this type of
face is width at the cheek bones. To give
an oval effect, the forehead and Jaw line
should be accentuated.
