Then when he saw the car hurtling toward him he started to pull off to the right and apply brakes but the collision could not be avoided. Damage to Mr. Wade's automo bile, a 1953 Chevrolet owned by the State Utilities Commission, was estimated at close to $800. Damage to the Hand car, a 1951 Buick, was esti uated at $800.
