ligious education is being tested by
the Albemarle Presbytery camp on
Bogue Sound near Morehead City.
Lessons are being presented by
discussion groups instead of lee
tures by religious leaders.
The discussion groups meet twice
a day for one hour. '
The camp has been host to the
youth of the Albemarle Presbytery
with the season being divided into
three divisions. The divisions are
grouped according to ages. Juniors,
9-11 years old, Pioneers, 12-14 years
old, and Seniors, 15-18, make up
the age groups and each meet for
two week sessions.
The camp Is located op the old
Hibbs estate on Highway 24. The
Albemarle Presbytery bought the
property from Mr. and Mrs. A. R.
Paulsen, Norfolk, Va., for $45,000
in April of 1953
