Opens Shop for Sportsmen
The Carteret Ice and Coal Co.,
Morehcad City, has opened a sports
shop on Evans Street at 6th, More
head City.
Mr. Lou Gore, general manager,
points out that they have been
selling picnic baskets, ice picks,
and other products for vacation
needs at his place of business,
Carteret Ice Sc Coal, but he
had no sales room for these pro
ducts.
The unoccupied section of
Carteret Ice & Coal has been con
verted into a modern show room
with pale green walls, a cream
come. The pastor is the Rev. Ar
thur Walker of Burgaw.
Morehead City ? The Rev. O. R.
Ellis and chorus of North Harlowe
will present a program Sunday af
ternoon at 3 o'clock in the Chris
tian Star Church. The Rev. C. C.
Simmons, pastor, invites the pub
lic to attend.

the Sports Shop will be to sell
only nationally advertised products
and to sell at nationally advertised
prices or less.
He expects to operate on an
around-the-year basis, supplying
merchandise necessary for the
sportsman of this area.
The Sports Shop will carry a
general line of sporting goods,
Coleman lanterns, all kinds of fish
ing tackle, oars, nets, sunglasses,
boat cushions, rods and reels and
similar products.
