All girls from the sophomore grade on, interested in joining the club, may attend classes. The class es are to be directed by the club officers and will be held after school today, tomorrow and Thurs day. At these meetings the girls are to be instructed in the principles of the club. They will learn the standards required . for admittance into the club. After the completion of a three day course there will be a written test. If a girl passes, she is con sidered by the girl's Hi-Y advisory board. The preference will go to seniors and juniors. The new mem bers will be welcomed into the club at the meeting Thursday night Patsy Holt, a sophomore home economics student, won the county prize in the 4-H club essay con test. Her essay was titled, "A Public Relation Program For Agri culture." She was awarded a medal and a monetary award. Patsy attended the 4-H Club dis trict contest held at Greenville Wednesday, March 9. Polly Guthrie gave a very in teresting talk in morning devotions Wednesday.
