The senior girls met the under classmen in an exciting basketball game Thursday at fifth period. The gym was packed with enthu siastic students cheering their fav orites on to victory. Both teams put up a terrific fight, but in the final seconds of the game the. un derclassmen defeated the seniors ; by a score of 48-44. Proceeds from this game. $65.85, will go toward the school scholar ship fund for deserving Seniors. Tri-Hi-Y sponsored the game. Thursday afternoon the students participating in the TV program over station WITN will meet with their advisors to practice and time their acts. They served chieken salad, baked beans, pota to chips, curled carrots, radish roses, tea, rolls, and pineapple up side-down cake. Women born in other countries were special guests and each re ceived a red rose. These ladies were Mrs. Larry Cannon, born in Holland, Mrs Odell Adams from the Bahamas, Mrs. M. J. Loutit of Scotland, Mrs. O. G. Sterlen from Norway, and Mrs. Ward Ballou, a j native of France.
