Borrowed Michigan Fir*
Truck Fights Virginia Fire
Elerson, V?. (AP)? When Han
over county's historic Shady Grove
Methodist church was damaged by
fire, men and equipment came
from several areas to help extin
guish the flames.
"They sure got here in a hurry,"
said one resident in discussing the
fire.
"Yeah, and from a right smart
piece away, some of them," said
another. 'I saw one that came
from Michigan."
The Glenwood Farms Volunteer
Fire Department used a truck
borrowed from a manufacturer in
Lansing, Mich.
