Oct. 24 ? Mr and Mrs. Wallace Conner of Winston-Salem spent the weekend here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Simmons and Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Conner. Ronald Bell, who works in Greensboro, was home tor the weekend. Mrs. C. M. Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hill and children spent last Sunday in Plymouth. Ormsby Mann of Washington, N. C , spent the weekend here with his wife and ran. Mrs. Floyd Harness and children, Beverly and Patricia, returned to their home in Raleigh after spend ing the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Ira Gar ner. Mrs. Dale Moose of Philadelphia, Pa., is spending two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Pringle. Mr. and Mrs. John Maggiola and children, Judy and Lewis, spent last weekend in Johnstown, Pa. Mrs. Leah Bell and Miss Edith Lockey spent the weekend in Chap el Hill with Mrs. Bell's brother and his wife, Professor and Mrs. L. L. Garner. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Carraway are spending some time in S. John's, Kansas. Clayton Howard of Greensboro spent the weekend here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. How ard. Miss Peggy Jacks Howard spent the weekend in High Point with the Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Waldrop Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd G. Mann have returned to their home in Atlanta, Ga., after a weekend here and a few days in Raleigh and Tarboro. Edward E. Carraway, a student at State College, spent the week end at his home here. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wagner, the former Rose Smith, left Monday for Kalamazoo, Mich., where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. James M. Rogers of Elizabeth City spent the week end here with Mrs. Claude Garner. Mrs. M. D. McCain returned home recently from New York City and Alexander, Vt., where she vis Ited her aoo, Murray D. McCain Jr. and her daughter and family, the J. R Murdoclu. Mrs. A. L.
