Centennial Committee Gets Corporation Papers A certificate or Incorporation for 1 Morehead City Centennial, Inc. has been filed in the N. C. secre tary of state's office. The new corporation, according to the cer tificate, is to promote, develop and present during the year of 1957 a centennial celebration for Morehead City. The non-stock corporation was t subscribed to by Jasper Bell, A. B. Roberts, and Charles Markey, Vail of Morehead City. Postmaster Predicts New Christmas Mail Record Predicting that thi* year's Christ- 1 mas mail will set a new all time' record, exceeding the 248,176 pieces j of mail handled in the Moreheud , City postoffice in 1955, Postmaster1 Harold Webb urges citizens to take j the following steps at once: Check your Christmas card lists very carefully ? make sure that each address includes the full ? name, street and number, city. ! zone and state. Then, secure Pamphlet No. 2 at ! the postoffice. telling you all about Packaging and Wrapping Parcels for Mailing, and Pamphlet No 3. giving full details on Domestic Postage Rates and Fees. Stock up on stamps at the same time. Also, ask for free labels read ing All For Local Delivery and All For Out of Town Delivery, so that you can speed arrival of your Christmas Cards by sorting 'and tying them in two separate bundles with the addresses all fac ing one way.
