New, Heavy Rails Will Be Flush with Highway Soon New roils being laid from New port to the Morehead City port will be made flush with the high way, Southern Railway operations officials said this week. The heavier rails, when first lai(J, extend several inches above the surface of the highway at rail road crossings and give vehicles quile a jolt. Two Classes Scheduled In Aluminum Etching Persons interested in the craft of etching aluminum may attend two instruction classes Wednesday and Thursday. Jan 29 and 30, at the home agent's office, courthouse annex. Beaufort. Each session will start at 2 p.m. Two classes are necessary because work done at the afternoon ses sion cannot be completed until the next day. Aud this week the colonel did more than that, he meritoriously promoted Allen to his present rank because this was the second time in as many months' that one of Allan's packed parachutes had saved the life of a Marine jet pilot.
