CANNON Mrs. Annie Augustus Cannon. 68. of Broad Creek died in the Cherry Point Hospital Saturday morning. Funeral services were held from the home yesterday afteuaon by the Rev-. M. L. Herring of the Broad Creek Church of G?d. In terment was i? the community cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Wil liam Henry Cannon; three daugh ters, Mrs. Price Adams and Mrs. Raymond L. Weeks, a native of Beaufort, died Sunday at his home in Spruce Pines. He was 57 years oM. Funeral services and burial will be conducted in Beaufort but arrangements were incomplete yes terday pending arrival of relatives. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Weeks; two sons, Richard of the home and Orville of Cameron, La.; two daughters, Mrs. T. B. The demenslvaiiflB was on Milk Des serts and the importance of milk in the diet. The demonstration was given by Mrs. Dyoe Simpaon The home was decorated with arrangements of red and white roses. Corsages of roses were pre sented the members in observance of Mother's Day Refreshments of block cake dec orated with red roses, salted nuts, homemade fudge and soft drinks were served by Mrs. Beachem.
