Our church is a connec-
tionalism. If you belong to the
Methodist churci! in Yancey
county you belong to the Metho
dist church all over the world.
The Methodists in China. Japan.
Korea, Cuba, Mexico and Africt
belongs to the same church we
do. You can’t belong to just your
home chui^chand be a Methodist.
We are considerably broader than
that. There are quite a few of
'.IS, too. Our membership passed
the two million mark in 1913, and
we have been growing steadily
ever since. Our net gain for last
'ear in North Carolina alone was
i2'48. This makes a net total
membership in this state of
201,254 members, divided into
3654 estsb’ished congregations
Brt while we have 1654 estib*
liihed c.'jRgregations we have
only 1595 Sunday Schools with
only 160,730 pupils. There is our
failure, Brethren, .just there. It
is a wise church that takes care
of Her children in the Sun(iay
School. You can’t do it without
the Sunday school.
I have often known children
go to Sunday school and leave the
parents home, but I never knew
the parents go and leave the
children homo.

plain the gospel and its truth*!
These meetings have been well

seems to be daily growing and
much good is expected to result.
So far several conversions are re
