I wish to thank the many who supported me in the General Election of November, 1946, and to ad-1 vise the people of Yancey] county that during the nine months time from the first Monday in December, 1946, when I took office as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Yancey county until my resigna tion on September 2, 1947, Yancey county paid all its current obligations and re- 1 duced the bonded indebted ness of the county in the sum of $8,000.00.
