JUNIOR DAIRY SHOWS WERE HIGHLY SUCESS One of the most success ful Junior Dairy Cattle Show years since they be gan in 1941 was recently closed by North Carolina junior dairy farmers, says J. A. Arey, in charge of Dairying for the State Col lege Extension Service;. In the eight district shows which were staged, five of them by wnite 4-H and FFA members, and three by Negroes, 1,225 head of dairy cattle were exhibited, and SIO,OOO in prize money were offered by the sponsors. Winners of Popularity « Contest / Betty Lee Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Latt Fox, and J. V. McMahan, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. McMa han were winners in the recent popularity contest at Burnsville high school. They represented the 11th grade.
