Tuesday, M&rcn 7, at the Newdale Methodist Church, accord ing to an announcement by the pastor, Rev. E. C. Gover This will be a union ser vice, in which the Celo and Windom Methodist church es will join with the New dale congregation. Mark Hall will act as thh presiding judge, while Mr. Woodrow Howell will serve as the attorney for the de fendent. Mr. Grady Hipps will act as Sheriff, and Mr. Robert Wyatt will take the part of the fingerprint expert. Mrs. Fay Boone will'be an important wit ness for the prosecution and Miss Mary Ruth Hipps will take the part of tjje prisoner’s little daughter. Miss Cora Lee Huskins will act as the clerk of the court Paui Buchanan will be the bailiff, and Bradley Wilson will serve as foreman of the jury. The performance will be gin promptly at 7:30. Young notice of Final sale In The Superior Court NORTH CAROLINA YANCEY COUNTY Yancey County vs. Mrs. Henry McCrackin Under and by virtue of a judg ment of the Superior Court in the above entitled action appointing the undersigned as Commissioner to sell the hereinafter described lands to satisfy said judgment for taxes for the years of 1946, 194 T, 1948, together with interest, pen alties and costs thereon, and sub sequent taxes, the undersigned will, on the 13th day of March, 1950, at 10 o’clock A. M., at the Courthouse, door in Burnsville, North Carolina, sell the hereinaf ter described lands to the highest bidder, for cash, to satisfy said judgment, together with all costs and subsequent taxes, said proper ty being in Crabtree Township, Yancey County, North Carolina, adjoining the lands of E. D. Boone, and described by metes and bounds as follows BEGINNING on a sycamore standing on the East side of Plum Branch and runs an East course with E. D. Boone’s line to a stake on top of a ridge in the John Thomas line; thence a North cour se to a locust; thence a West course down and with Harry Mc- Crickin’s line to a beech on the East side of Plum Branch; thence with Plum Branch to the BEGIN NING, containing 40 acres, more or less.
