o’clock so that members
may go to* hear Dr. Jackson
speak on “Andrew Jackson
at 8 in school library . . To
morrow the Woman’s Club
picnic at 6:30 so that mem
bers can go to Playhouse
for the second performan
ce, and two ball games here
this week end . . . Formal
opening of the Mt. Mitchell
Motel Sunday. It’s lovely!
Now we won’t have to leave
Burnsville to take a vaca
tion. Just go down to Motel
(if you can get there ahead
of the visitors) and have a
quiet, restful stay . . . Over

hours has a lovely portrait.

for many year, and to Mrs.
